Job Purpose
As the Domestic Operations Officer, will oversee and ensure the accurate and timely processing of all domestic and foreign transactions, licenses, tax payments, and related reporting activities and will supervise the Operations Support Officer and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Principal Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Operations Support Officer to ensure efficiency and accuracy in transaction processing.
Oversee the processing and monitoring of export licenses and related payments in compliance with Central Bank regulations (ISYS DDR).
Review and validate transactions, including transfers, CREDOC payments, tax payments (DGI, DGRAD, DGDA), inspection fees (OCC, BIVAC), and check remittances.
Ensure proper reconciliation of prepayment accounts and timely remittance of revenues to the public treasury.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of daily, monthly, and regulatory reports.
Handle complex customer inquiries, disputes, and escalations related to operational transactions.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal procedures across all operations.
Support audits and ensure data integrity across core banking systems (T24, ISYS REGIE, SYDONIA, ATS).
Provide coaching, guidance, and performance monitoring for the Operations Support Officer.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience.
Ability to prepare, review, and submit daily, monthly, and regulatory reports accurately and on time.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data integrity.
Ability to handle complex customer inquiries, operational issues, and escalations professionally.
Experience supporting internal and external audits and maintaining proper documentation.
Strong communication, coaching, and team collaboration skills.
